As a member of the team, your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so they can provide exceptional care to every patient. You’ve worked hard for your credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and they want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that you will be utilized include, but are not limited to:
Physical examinations and patient assessment
Surgical preparation and assisting
Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
In the supervisor role, you will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to:
Directing workflow on the floor
Help with the interview process for potential new hires
Assists in staffing and coverage where needed
Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
Assists in basic protocol and standard procedure training
Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
Mentoring technicians within the department
Working with department doctors to develop protocols to improve the service
Ensure that policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff.
