Our clients in Westbury have opportunities available for experienced Veterinary Technicians to join their fast-paced, VECCS Level 1 facility, 24-hour emergency & specialty hospital in Westbury, NY as an ER/ICU Technician. They have both full-time and part-time positions available.
Their specialties include: Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Emergency, and Critical Care. Each of their specialty departments utilizes advanced technology to provide state-of-the-art diagnostics and advanced treatments and therapies to help their patients get well. Such as onsite Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy; just to name a few.
This is a great opportunity for a Veterinary Technician who wants a challenge, using all their skills and the opportunity for growth. In the ER/ICU department, you will get the experience to learn from a Veterinary Technician Specialist in ECC, as well as 2 Doctors boarded in ECC. They raise the level of care by also having 2 RECOVER certified instructors on staff to keep staff trained and up to skill on The RECOVER initiative (CPR)
The ideal candidate will have top-level technical skills and demonstrate a professional attitude with their coworkers. They have full-time and part-time positions available as well as a competitive overnight differential for any hours worked between 8pm-8am.
